hi harry, cheers for the link/recommendation, glad you enjoying our mixes… ‘bashment’ is used in jamaica to refer to a party (ie a bash), and in england has come to be used to refer to dancehall music itself.

O...mp3 blogs are wonderful. I have so much more time to read poetry now that other people find the interesting music for me, provide the link, and maintain gigantic blog-rolls. Better than than microwave. Especially love the diversity, from great country blues posts on Honey, Where You Been so Long, to Benn loxo du taccu's "african music for the masses." And gems like this. O. Yes.
