That was very interesting. It brings to mind hypnagogia and the auditory hallucinations people sometimes experience just before falling asleep.
And people hallucinate in sensory-deprvation tanks, as well, so I guess it shouldn’t be surprising that people who lose their sight should have the same issues. I’d just never thought of it before.
