Masonry at Crystal Palace

Some of the crumbling masonry from the remains of the terrace of the Crystal Palace. In the background you can see the floodlights at the athletics stadium.

Is this an interesting enough subject for a picture? Or an interesting enough picture of the subject? I don’t know really. I mean obviously I think it is or I wouldn’t have posted it, but it’s not exactly crowd-pleasing. Ho-hum.

Mysterious — sphynx-like. Maybe not a prize-winning photo, but intriguing nonetheless.

Funny you should say that. There are actually some sphinxes at Crystal Palace, but I didn’t get any very satisfactory shots of them. It must have been an extraordinary place.
