Thanks. I find these old trees endlessly fascinating. Wikipedia seems to think they’re C17th, which is actually slightly younger than I imagined.

Yes, someone had clearly been feeding the squirrels, but the little buggers still didn’t stay still for more than a microsecond. Perhaps if I’d taken some peanuts.
