I quite enjoyed doing this particular thing because after spending a lot fo time messing around with web-design it’s nice to do something with type where you’re not limited to four or five fonts and you can control what the result will actually look like.
Dude, that is fucking awesome! Blogging is so 18th-century anyway.

The type samples are C17th, but you’re right, the layout I’ve come up with is much more C18th-inspired. Though I don’t think they would have gone for lower-case titles, somehow.
Apparently Caslon, which is an C18th English typeface, is modelled on the Dutch Fell types I’ve used here, so it’s not too much of a stretch.
