At least it’s not all bloody Ikea.
Everyone commenting on them on Flickr seems to assume it’s self-evidently true that they’re awful and irredeemable, but I don’t agree. Some of it is just ugly, but with a bit of selective tweaking — starting by cutting down on clutter — some of them could be pretty nice, if not to contemporary taste. It’s amazing how confident people seem to be that their negatiove reaction is due to superiority of judgement and not just a shift in fashion.
